A collective of five of Ireland’s leading pianists perform a selection of works for solo piano which held personal meaning to them during the pandemic. In recognition of, and to honour the work and sacrifices made by keyworkers, the concert will also include a selection of pieces nominated by heroic frontline workers including nurses, a doctor, a paramedic and a dementia care specialist. Others nominating their own special choices are Professor Luke O’Neill who helped demystify the science for the general public, yet never failed to strike a hopeful note, and the trailblazing Irish scientist, Professor Teresa Lambe, who co-developed the Oxford AstraZenca Covid-19 vaccine.

Presented in partnership with the Office of Public Works and in association with Dublin Castle
